3.1.16: Disassemble Support
The Disassemble Support component breaks down an incoming support, exposing its properties for for further processing and recomposition as yet another support.
Figure 3.1.16.1 illustrates the disassembly process. Before model assembly, node indexes are undefined, indicated by the value “-1” in the Node Index output (“Ind”). When used after model assembly and in combination with a Disassemble Model component, “Ind” returns the index of the node to which the support is attached.
